NOTICE TEMPORARY OFFICE CLOSURE
Due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to comply with the Governor’s restrictions that have been put in place, we are sorry to inform you that effective immediately ALL Cement Masons Local Union 500 offices will be closed for walk-ins. This includes both of the satellite offices in Colton and San Diego.
Given the uncertainty surrounding the spread of the virus and attempts to contain it; Cement Masons Local Union 500 has decided that for the safety of its staff and membership ALL business will be conducted by telephone only. We will not allow any walk-ins for union dues and/or any other union business until further notice.
Business Agents will still patrol the job sites with limited access to members and will not be taking union dues payments in the field. If there is a job site emergency please contact your Business Agent or Business Manager directly. All union dues payments must be paid by telephone with a credit card. If a credit card is not an option you can mail your payment with a check or money order. ABSOLUTELY NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED!!
All scheduled union meetings (including San Diego) have been cancelled until further notice.
Until further notice, the main office in Corona will operate via telephone during the following hours:
7:00am to 3:00pm Monday thru Friday, and as always, your Business Manager and Business Agents are available by phone.
The office staff will continue to service your Union needs by telephone ONLY! Again, no walk-ins will be allowed under any circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however, Cement Masons Local Union 500 is being proactive for the safety and well-being of our Officers, Members and Secretarial Staff.
